SCAMP is a web portal designed to support collaborative collection management amongst Scotland's information professionals. SCAMP has been developed alongside the SCONE service of collection description records.
The portal includes a mechanism which allows those who manage collections to update or amend the description of their particular collection in the database. In this way information services can maintain the currency and accuracy of their own collection description records. In addition SCAMP offers tools to support collaborative collection management and resource sharing.
